Bio
I didn't build my career from a plan. I built it by staying in motion — saying yes to the right rooms, paying attention, and trusting that momentum matters more than certainty. At some point I looked up and realized I'd learned a lot. Most of it the hard way.
I'm co-founder of Metacomet Studio, where we work with nonprofits, startups, and community-driven organizations to build their brands by telling other people's stories first. I'm also co-director of The Shelf Life podcast — which means I've spent a lot of time on both sides of a microphone thinking about what makes a conversation worth having.
On a podcast, I'm not going to give you a 12-step plan or quote someone famous. I'm going to say the quiet part out loud, make you laugh at least once, and hopefully leave you a little easier on yourself than when we started.
WHY I’M A GOOD PODCAST GUEST
Comfortable in any conversational setting and able to meet the tone of the show
Balances humor with depth without making conversations heavy
Speaks from lived experience rather than theory
Focused on storytelling and insight, not self-promotion
Knows what makes a good episode from both sides of the mic — as a guest and as a producer
CONVERSATION STARTERS / TOPIC IDEAS
Why promoting other people’s work grew my business faster than self-promotion
Falling Up: What Building Without a Plan Actually Looks Like
Other People First: Why Promoting Others Built My Business Faster Than Self-Promotion Ever Could
Doing Good Without Being Boring — and Doing Well Without Losing Yourself
What a Notoriously Difficult Executive Taught Me That Leadership Books Don't Cover
From Instability to Instinct: Why Unconventional Paths Create Better Problem-Solvers
Saying the Quiet Part Out Loud: Why Candor Is a Strategy, Not a Personality Trait
BACKGROUND & CREDIBILITY

Former executive assistant to a multi-million-dollar founder and operator
Early career spent in close proximity to startup leadership, venture capital, and high-stakes decision-making
Learned business fundamentals by observing how companies are built, scaled, and managed—often from the quietest seat in the room
